WE ARE ORA COMPLIANT CAPABLE

Logistics

First, the employee is provided guidance  in completing the 1st step in applying for an ORA Account using a CAC login portal.


Next, the employee sends us the e-mail from OPM that their Account is established and a temporary dual access is established so that the employee can monitor progress by the High 3 Team. This is a portal accessed from any computer and does not require a CAC login.


Last, the employee reviews the completed process for accuracy of PII, creditable service, support documents, etc. then digitally signs where required and electronically submits.


This new process will be more efficient for most retirements to be processed.


Currently, there are limitations with the new ORA:


- Medical/Disability Retirements can not be processed thru the ORA 

 

- Document upload limited to 5 items/5 mb max size per document. This is an issue when a Divorce Decree, OWCP documents, and multiple DD-214's, etc.


- Postponed/Deferred Retirements can not be processed
